It is a fully automatic 35mm point-and-shoot camera with auto film wind and rewind, a built-in flash, and a self-timer with a sharp 38-105mm Zoom lens. However, it's a very advanced camera with many features that are handy for creative photography, including interval shooting, multiple exposures, and Portrait and bulb modes for night photography. The modes and features are easily cycled through using three buttons on the back.

The lens is a 38-105mm, f/4-7.8. The power zoom can be controlled continuously or in steps of 46, 55, 70 and 85mm by lightly tapping the zooming lever. The focal length is displayed on the top LCD screen. The focus range is from 1.35m to infinity, but with macro mode enabled, this changes to 0.75m to 1.35m. There is also a super macro mode. It is ideal for taking wide-angle as well as telephoto portrait shots. The built-in auto flash has a red-eye reduction function to aid with indoor family photos.

The film is automatically loaded, advanced and rewound. Mid-roll rewind can be done. It can use DX-coded 35mm film ranging from ISO 25-3200.
