Canon Speedlite 540EZ

OVERVIEW:

Canon Speedlite 540EZ. A member of Canon's Speedlite family, the 540EZ is a high-output, auto zoom, shoe-mount flash with a maximum guide number of 54/177 (ISO 100 meters/feet). Compatible with all Canon EOS cameras, Speedlite flashes automatically evaluate shooting conditions when you depress the shutter button, and set aperture and shutter speed appropriately. The direct-coupling clip-on type A-TTL (advanced through-the-lens) automatic flash was designed with professional and advanced amateur users in mind.

The Canon 540EZ has a number of useful features, including AF auxiliary light, A-TTL preflash, auto zoom, and bounce functions, and there are seven zoom stop positions: 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm, 80mm, and 105mm--all of which translates into a flash capable of illuminating a variety of complex situations. The 540EZ requires 4 AA batteries.
